It depends on whether you like a hotter or cooler climate, but all large cities in France have a fantastic cultural heritage and a vibrant daily life. These are just a few of the principal main cities but there are many others which are just as interesting. North West : Lille North East Strasbourg . Nancy . Centre West: Rennes. Nantes.
