How do I obtain a student visa for France?
I am applying to study in France for one semester and I am trying to submit a visa application through the LA consulate of the french embassy and I am having trouble figuring out some details (address to send application materials, getting lodging certificate, "financial guarantee" details, etc.) Any input from anyone with experience in this application process would be greatly appreciated, especially since the consulate will not take visa inquiries over the phone and i don not live anywhere near LA. Thank you!

The embassador has all the information you need.Call them 5 times a day if you need to.It's their job.It is not pleasant,been there.The American embassy in Frankfurt was the same way,but I think they just want to see how bad you want the visa and study in France.Don't worry,you will get it.There are just dicks.
